Thats why d3 season 28 was the biggest ever. I dont think a mathematics degree is needed to see the massiv trend here. if they can afford the money - will move.Īnd lets see in 1-2 years how many. I am pretty sure there wont be many d2 players left - soon. And because the competition with creators on d4 will be massiv. that gives them an advantage over all other players. While the game play monster killing was fun I'm pretty stoked about the story, the return to the dark and gritty, I think way more interested than I ever was in the D3 storyline.ĭ2 creators in general love there knowledge about all the stupid secret hidden mechanics of the game. Still just looking at the D4 map and how much fun I had with it on the beta weekends, it looks to have enough content to keep me busy for quite some time and that is before whatever the "end game" looks like. Depending on what they ultimately do with D4 I may never have a desire to hit D3 again, but given I still enjoy the other two once in a great while I wouldn't bet against it. I don't anticipate playin D3 again after Friday for the rest of the year at least, save maybe to do my post season inventory management. I'm an off an on player of Diablo as in I usually play about 1 D3 season a year, and have occasionally fired up 1 and 2 for the nostalgia and because there is a lot about D2 I liked mechanically (and a lot I don't which usually I remember shortly after I start playing or the first time I die and have to reload my potion belt). I'm currently playing D3 again just to scratch the itch waiting for next Friday.
